Abstract

In this review I analyze the book “Atheism and Deism Revalued: Heterodox Religious Identities in Britain, 1650‒1800” that was written by a large group of authors. The book is dedicated to a crucial moment of religious philosophy in Europe. One of the authors rightly notes that this topic is usually assigned to history of philosophy and that is not correct because it must be a part of intellectual history with its own specificity instead. Through these authors efforts it is possible to solve many issues of deism and atheism studies that occurred over time. Authors are focused on religious philosophy of thinkers that did not want to be associated with popular trends of philosophy or institutions of their time. Religion and Revelation played a significant role religious philosophy of these authors.
